Want to take more than 1 companion into battle? 50 gems for the 2nd slot and 100 gems for the 3rd. Want more than 1 slot for passive skills? Pay up a small amount of gems to unlock a 2nd passive slot. Want another slot to enhance your skills because 1 slot isn't cutting it when the last three enhancement levels take just over 4 days? 400 gems for a new slot. Did you unlock a new ability and want to set it to your hotbar? Replace your current active skill or spend a small amount of gems to unlock the right mouse click hotkey along with the 2nd and 3rd hotbar slot. Now, let's talk about the most annoying part of the game. I have no idea if the second stash requires spending gems for more tabs or not. Need more than the 216 slots from 6 fully upgraded tabs? It'll cost you $5 for a second stash. It costs something like 20k or 30k coins to upgrade a tab to 36 slots total. Your stash comes with 2 tabs having 12 inventory slots PER TAB. What would a game about loot be without side loot like gems to put in sockets on your gear? I haven't used them since I'm still a low level, but they drop often-ish. That said, I've gotten almost entirely better gear from the cash item version of a chest reward with 5 equipment from the daily login than I did by grinding stages for hours. I didn't see any legendary drops from monsters or common chests. I played for a few hours and only saw 1 rare drop from common chests. Some stages have a boss chest at the end that always drops uncommon gear which can help with farming craft mats. The paywall chests I saw offered several pieces of rare equipment, but I passed on them. Then, there's the paywall chests that demand you spend gems to open them.

The odds are really low on getting a rare gear from common chests. Common chests can also drop ONLY coins too. You'll be grinding those freemium gem drops for months and months to fill out your stash tabs, unlock all your ability slots, expand your inventory a bit, and so on.Ĭommon chests are spread throughout stages enmasse. Most things are "cheap" but the sheer amount of things to unlock with gems turn "cheap" into a heavy grind. Most of the ability slot stuff is dirt cheap. Otherwise, the mobile controls for casting skills will still be active. Also, do yourself a favor and turn off the Gestures setting to make everything work purely by point'n click. I'm not even Level 20 so take this review with a grain of salt.
